Vegan Protein

The first question I get asked after people realize i’m vegan is.. well, where do you get your protein? If you are interested in the vegan lifestyle or just eating healthier in general I am going to share some tips with you today. So vegans get TONS of protein. Honestly, on a regular I get more protein than a meat eater. I know that probably sounds crazy and totally hard to believe but it’s true! Vegan’s get protein from potatoes, brown rice, spinach, quinoa, kidney beans, pinto beans, green peas, macadamia nuts, lima beans, wheat bread, garbanzo beans, lentils, pecans, soybeans, walnuts, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, chia seeds, oats, tofu, flaxseed, pistachio nuts, almonds, hemp seed, peanut butter, pumpkin seeds and more! Beef has 6.4 grams of protein per 100 calories where broccoli has 11.1 grams of protein per 100 calories. See why you need your greens and they are so good for you?? Plants have all the protein that you need with none of the violence. There are so many delicious vegan recipes that can be made to taste so much like your animal products without having that guilt of eating an animal. I post recipes on here constantly. Try some of them out and let me know what you think!
