I love growing and using different herbs with my foods. It gives it such a great flavor! One particular herb I use quite a bit is rosemary. It tastes great with fried potatoes and cashews. Not only is rosemary amazing in food, but it is an aromatic herb that is in the mint family and grows on an evergreen bush giving it such a great scent. But that’s still not all! Rosemary has tons of uses such as:
-Rosemary can be infused into an oil and used for skin irritations like eczema and joint problems like arthritis.
-Speeds healing of wounds and bruises when used externally.
-A mild tea of Rosemary Leaf can help fight illness when sipped.
-Rosemary infused oil is a treatment for bad dandruff or hair loss and can be rubbed on hair, left for at least an hour and washed out. This will help improve scalp condition!
-Rosemary Oil can help sooth the stomach and relieve pain from indigestion, menstrual cramps or other difficulties when used externally.
-If you are coughing eat rosemary. The eucalyptol in this herb is proven to loosen chest congestion and it is rich in anti-inflammatory tannins, which soothe a sore throat.
Rosemary is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, helps digestion, anti-cancer, antioxidant, relieves gout, anti-stress, pain relief, improves memory, helps brain health, aids circulation, helps concentration and calms adrenal fatigue.
Wow! So many great benefits for using or adding this herb to your daily foods. Try it out and let me know what you think!
