Oil Pulling

Ever since I tried oil pulling for the first time I completely fell in love with it. From the beginning I used coconut oil but any other high quality, extra virgin, cold pressed oil does the trick. I love the smell, taste and consistency of coconut and its great for your lips too! Oil pulling is a simple practice of swishing oil through your teeth and gums.
Here is how to oil pull-
Drink 1c water on an empty stomach
Melt 1-3 tsp coconut oil in your mouth
Swish through your mouth for 5-20 mins while you are busy doing something else.
Spit into trash (not the sink..it will clog your drain!)
Rinse it out, have breakfast and brush your teeth as normal.
It’s important that you oil pull BEFORE you eat or drink anything else than water. It’s totally useless afterwards.
Oil pulling can be a bit awkward at first. The thought of having oil swish in my mouth would make me cringe but its actually suprisingly pretty delicious. (if you like coconut haha) Start with 1 tsp and gradually increase with time.
