Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Buffalo Cauliflower Wings-
I had a request to post a blog on one of my favorite recipes. Buffalo Cauliflower Wings. Yes you herd it right. A twist on your traditional buffalo wings except there were no animals harmed here. Don’t you just love recipes like that? We are saving the world one meal at a time. 🙂 Plus this recipe is absolutely DELICIOUS! Perfect for pizza night. 🙂 Here is what you will need…
INGREDIENTS
1 medium head cauliflower, chopped into bite-size pieces
1/2 c
up garbanzo bean flour
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon melted butter (I use Smart Balance or Earth Balance)
2/3 cup hot sauce
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450ºF. In a medium-size bowl, combine flour, water, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk together until smooth.
Toss cauliflower into garbanzo batter, making sure to coat each piece completely, then place battered cauliflower on a lightly greased, nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through.
In the meantime, combine melted butter and hot sauce in a large bowl, regularly stirring. When cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and gently toss it in the hot sauce mixture. Place cauliflower back on the baking sheet and cook for an additional 25 minutes until it becomes crispy. Allow cauliflower to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
There is also a really great ranch you can buy at the store that is dairy free! Giant now sells it and its by the same company as Just Mayo but instead called Just Ranch. I was so surprised the first time I tried it. I actually had to run back into the kitchen to check the label because it tasted so much like the real ranch dressing.
